During the pandemic, parents have been concerned with the health of their children. Some of them choose to put a hold on their child's education for an unknown time frame in exchange for health and safety. Meanwhile, children's growth and needs do not wait until the world is safe for children to go out of their bubbles.

Parents realize that the child is experiencing delays, however they may still be afraid to seek support from a teacher, speech and language therapist, or occupational therapist, because sessions would have to be done in-person or online, which is considered ineffective for children two to three years old.
